The site for these alterations and additions is at the rear of an existing Post-Federation cottage and faces due North, with views to the ocean from the first floor.
Our clients wanted a sleek, contemporary home that responded to the environment, views and location. The new additions are open and light and have been designed in conjunction with the pool and landscaping to create a beautifully integrated house and garden.
The relocation of the entrance, which is housed in a double height space at the junction between the old and the new, makes a clear departure from the original cottage. This project makes a dramatic architectural statement while facilitating a relaxed and comfortable life-style. |
